Amazing wine produced by old Viura vines.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are collected by hand in 18 kg boxes from the Alto Najerilla area in the village of Baños de Rio Tobia at an altitude of 630 meters. The garden is densely planted and the 65-year-old vines grow like bushes. The soil of the shelter is ferruginous, albeit poor sand, and extends to a depth of 1.2 meters, after which the limestone subsoil begins. After pressing the whole bunches, the wine is aged in 35-hl oak barrels, where it also matures for a year on the lees.

Use: With refined, if strong, fish dishes.

Description: A youthful scent that opens up to ripe fruit in the glass. The taste is still very dense, but you can sense both the richness brought by the oak and the fruitiness that opens up with age. Very noticeable acidity promises the wine a long life.
