A balanced Chardonnay from southern Burgundy.
Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are collected from the limestone clay soil above the Premier Cru Chapître. Tarha faces southeast and is known for its particularly balanced wines. The vines in the shelter are 40 years old. The wine ferments spontaneously in old oak barrels, where it also matures for 18 months on its lees.
Use: As a companion to roasted roots and gremolata.
Description: The expressive aroma has caramelized lemon, pear and a hint of toasted oak. The dry taste is rich and the noticeable acidity is energetic. The use of oak is balanced and the whole is very lively.
