A rich and giving chardonnay from Rully village.
Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are collected from the white clay soil at the top of the Cloux slope. The lightness of the soil reflects sunlight onto the grapes, which means that the plot also ripens first among the plots on the farm. The wine ferments spontaneously in neutral oak barrels, where it also matures for 12 months on its lees.
Use: As a partner to light meats and rich fish dishes.
Description: Rich and ripe fruity aroma. The dry taste is broad, but balanced by noticeable acidity, and in the aftertaste you can feel not only nuttiness but also a hint of caramelized citrus flavors.
