Gastronomic white wine from the Roero area

Terroir, method of production and ripening: The grapes grow in orchards located 316 meters above sea level and facing south-west. The orchard was planted in 1980. After a selective hand harvest, the grapes are gently pressed and the juice is allowed to settle in temperature-controlled tanks before fermentation. Malolactic fermentation is not allowed and after fermentation the wine is allowed to mature in tanks for 5-6 months before bottling.

Use: Light fish dishes and shellfish.

Description: The scent has herbaceousness, apple and light almond. The dry taste is crisply tart, has a slightly sticky texture, and the fruitiness is balanced.

Boffa

Boffa

The Boffa winery, which bears the family's last name, can be found in the middle of the lovely Piedmont scenery, in the small village of Barbaresco, next to the village church. The house offers a stunning view over the vineyards of Barbaresco and the high mountains of the Alps looming in the background.
