100% organically produced Sangiovese from the heart of Chianti, Panzano.
Terroir, production method and ripening: Organically certified grapes are collected from orchards whose soil is 70% Galestro (clay slate), 20% sandstone and 10% limestone. The nurseries were planted in 2003-2010. Fermentation and maceration of grapes in steel and cement tanks. Malolactic fermentation and maturation for 12 months in large neutral oak vats and cement tanks. The wine is not filtered. The name of the wine cherishes the idea of Sangiovese and classic Chianti Classico.
Usage: Excellent with classic Italian dishes and matured cheeses.
Description: Ripe fruity aroma with herbal notes, cherry and plum. The medium-bodied taste has fresh fruit and juicy acidity. The tannins are fine and pleasant, and the aftertaste is long.
