A typical Alsatian Riesling, where rich fruitiness is refreshed by rich acidity.
Method of production: The grapes come from the village of Katzenthal, whose soil is mainly granite. The vineyards were planted in 1969 and 2009, and some of the grapes are also obtained from lieux-dit and grand cru plots. The wine is made using traditional methods in large oak barrels, where it is allowed to mature on fine lees.
Use: For Asian-seasoned fish and seafood dishes.
Serving temperature: 8-10°C
Description: Aromatic and classic scent with a bit of flowers, ripe lemon and nectarine. The taste is dry, richly acidic and fresh.
