A Czech Grüner veltliner made by Viinitie that won't let go of its grip.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are harvested by hand from two plots in the Slovácká sub-region in Moravia. The soil of Skoronice Slíny is brown clay, the vines are about 50 years old and the grapes are infected with noble mold. The vines of Hovorany Díly za Vinohrady are 25 years old and the deep soil is loess and black soil. There is no downy mildew in the grapes of the orchard. Harvesting takes place relatively late at both nurseries, at the beginning of November. The grapes ferment in steel tanks, where the wine matures for 4 months on the lees. After maturation, the wine is mixed and bottled.

Use: with Wiener Schnitzel and Nordic fish dishes.

Description: A somewhat aromatic and multidimensional scent with ripe apricot, greenery and the spiciness brought by noble mold. The dry taste is rich and ripe fruity and concentrated, and the whole is refreshed by a long-lasting acidity.

What do you do when the Czech wine is so good that you want to hold on to it? Then you have to return to it again and again - just like, according to legend, to Prague. Franz Kafka, the interpreter of the modern world, once wrote about his hometown: Prague is like a mother with nails.
