Clear grappa made from Freisa, the original variety of Piedmont.

Method of production and maturation: The pulp of the Freisa grape is brought to the Marolo estate 24–48 hours after pressing. Distillation is done in copper stills. The dishes are double-bottomed water bath pans that work with the single distillation method. Aging in steel tanks.



The Marolo family distillery saw the light of day in 1977 in Alba, Piedmont. The distillery's high quality and prestigious status can largely be attributed to Paolo Marolo, who already at a young age wanted to show that enjoyable grappas can be made from a traditional and very rustic drink.
