A red wine inspired by rabbits seen in barns and wild nature.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are collected from the orchards of Rheinhessen, whose soil consists of calcareous clay. The grapes are used separately in steel tanks and old oak barrels, and are mixed after fermentation.

Use: As a partner for hamburgers or kebab skewers.

Description: The dark scent is ripe raspberry and plum. The dry finish is medium-bodied, soft in tannins and mouth-fillingly fruity.

Kühling-Gillot

Kühling-Gillot

The history of the Kühling-Gillot farm, located in the village of Bodenheim in the northeast of Rheinhessen, goes back a couple of centuries. In 2002, after graduating as a winemaker from Geisenheim, Carolin Spanier took over the responsibility of running the family farm from her parents, Gabi and Roland Gillot.
