Gastronomically versatile red wine.
Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are collected from orchards whose soil consists of sand and stones. The stems of the grapes are removed and the grapes are crushed, after which the wine ages in large oak barrels at 25°C. Fermentation is followed by a long maceration. The wine matures for 12 months in new and reused French oak barrels.
Use: With dark game dishes, grilled meats and mature cheeses.
Description: The scent has a mixture of dark and red ripe fruitiness and the depth brought by oak. The taste is rich, the tannins are ripe and soft, and the whole is supported by refreshing acidity.
