Owl champagne produced jointly by Viinitie and Autréau, where quality is guaranteed by grapes from Premier and Grand Cru plots and long bottle aging.
Terroir, production method and maturation: Pinot Noir grapes are obtained from Autréau's own vineyards, in Verneuil, in the Marne valley. Pinot Meunier is bought from a partner in the Aube valley. The basic wine ferments in steel tanks and malolactic fermentation is allowed. The wine matures for about 24 months in the bottle. Dosage 6 g/l.
Use: An excellent aperitif, but also good at the dinner table.
Description: The scent is fresh and mineral and is tinged with green apple aromas. The taste is dry, elegantly fruity and well-balanced, and you can also distinguish roasted aromas. Small and lively bubbles last a long time in the glass.
