A wine from a deep calcareous clay soil.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are hand-picked from the Bas de Chapelot plot south of the Montée de Tonnerre premier cru vineyard. After pneumatic pressing, the wine ferments spontaneously in steel tanks and malolactic fermentation is also allowed. The wine matures for a year in old oak barrels.

Use: As a companion to roasted pumpkin.

Description: The ripe lemon scent has a hint of herbs and mussel shell. The dry taste is accompanied by noticeable acidity, the aftertaste is broad, and the whole is very mineral.
