A balanced sweet wine from Emilia-Romagna made from dried grapes.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are picked by hand from a 6 ha area on the slopes of Brisighella in the southwestern parts of Emilia-Romagna. The soil is clay and the vines have low yields. The grapes are dried for 45 days before fermentation to concentrate their flavor and sugar content. The wine ages in steel tanks and matures for 10-12 months in 2500 liter oak barrels. Residual sugar 101g/l.

Use: A versatile wine for a variety of sweet desserts, such as apricot pie. Also try with cheeses.

Description: Somewhat aromatic wine with concentrated aromas of dried fruits such as apricot. The taste is balanced sweet and quite dense, and you can find flavors of sultana and caramelized orange.
