100% Macabeo, whose personality is guaranteed by long amphora maturation.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are harvested by hand from old bush vines planted in 1952. The soil in the orchards is calcareous clay with a pH is very high. The grapes ferment spontaneously with their skins for 7 days, and the wine matures in amphorae buried in the vineyards for 9 months under a layer of flor yeast. No clarification or filtration, minimal addition of sulfur dioxide.

Use: With rich fish dishes. 

Description: An intense scent with flowers and a little roasted nut. The taste is acidic, restrainedly fruity and slightly salty. Mouthfeel slightly drying.

Entre Vinyes is a project started in 2014 by María Barrena, who works in Azul y Garanza, and her partner Josep Torti, with the aim of reviving the more than 50-year-old vines owned by Josep's family in the Baix Penedès region, which grow in deep clay soil. As a natural and enjoyable 'by-product' of the project, high-quality and intense cava, pét nat, white and rose wine are created.
