A dark-spoken premier cru wine from the village of Aloxe-Corton.
Terroir, production method and maturation: The vines used for wine grow on the plot of Les Vercots. The first vintage of the wine was produced in 2001. The grapes are picked by hand and, after removing the stems, they are lightly crushed before fermentation. Fermentation takes place in large old oak vessels. The wine matures for 20 months in oak barrels, 1/3 of which are new.
Use: For herb- marinated lamb and cherry sauce.
Description: The scent is concentrated and you can smell the flowers. The taste is filled with dense tannins and there is red sour berry flavor. The structure of the wine promises it a long aging potential.
