Alkon hinta

Pfalz's mature answer to the world's cry for Chardonnay.

Terroir, production method and ripening: Manual harvesting from 27-38 year old vines in limestone orchards. After precise pressing, the wine ferments spontaneously in 228-liter new French oak barrels and matures in them on the lees for 18 months.

Use: Rich and umami-rich fish and shellfish dishes.

Description: A layered aroma that combines the nuttiness brought by oak and the reductive and gentle smokiness brought by lees maturation. Dry and rich taste, whose abundance is cut by laser-sharp and noticeable acidity.
