A fruity riesling from a sunny and warm plot.
Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are harvested by hand from a plot facing south at an altitude of 240 meters. The soil of the shelter is gneiss and sandy loess. The average age of the vines is 25 years and the planting density is 5000-6000 vines per hectare. The grapes are allowed to macerate for 1-4 hours before they are compressed pneumatically. The wine ages in 500-4500 liter steel tanks and oak containers at 23-26°C. Malolactic fermentation is not allowed. The wine matures on the lees for 9 months without bâtonnage.
Use: With caramelized scallops or vegetable curries.
Description: Ripe fruity aroma with plenty of melon and peach. The dry taste is dense and mineral, and its rich fruitiness slowly opens up in the glass. Long maturation potential.
