A wonderful wine from Etna's coolest vineyard, from the vineyard bought by Marco de Grazia in 2016.
Terroir, production method and maturation: The volcanic shelter rises to an altitude of 750-850 meters in the village of Randazzo. The vines are up to 70 years old. Hand harvesting. Fermentation in temperature-controlled steel tanks at 28-30°C. Spontaneous malolactic fermentation and maturation in French oak barrels of different sizes for 16-18 months. 20% of the barrels are new.
Use: As a companion to duck breast and polenta.
Description: The aromatic scent has herbal notes, youthful red fruit and a hint of pepper. The finely divided tannins and fresh acidity make the wine elegant, and the still shy fruitiness promises the wine good maturation potential.
