Riesling from Langhe from a cult producer.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are collected in the Madonna di Como region of Alba, where the soil in the orchards is calcareous clay and the planting density is 5,000 vines per hectare. The shelters are located at an altitude of 500 meters above sea level and face east and southeast. After hand harvesting, the grapes are allowed to macerate in the cold for 3 days. The wine ferments spontaneously in steel tanks at 17-18°C for about 20 days. After that, the wine matures on the lees for 6 months and another 6 months in steel tanks.

Use: As a companion to shellfish risotto.

Description: Semi-aromatic scent, with peachiness typical of the grape. The dry and rather straightforward taste is very well-balanced with plenty of acidity.
