Descendant of RunRig wine, an expressive blend of Shiraz and Viognier.
Terroir, method of production and maturation: The grapes are hand-picked from the vineyard located right next to the winery on Roennfeldt Road. The nursery was planted in 1994 from cuttings obtained from RunRig's nursery. The Shiraz is crushed and mixed with the juice squeezed from the Viognier, some of which goes into the production of RunRig. The grapes ferment together and after fermentation the wine matures for 20 months in French oak barrels that were previously used to mature RunRig.
Use: As a partner for barbecue skewers.
Description: The fragrance has aromatic flowers and spicy fruitiness. The full flavor is intense and elegant at the same time, and the tannins are very fine.
