Nicolas and Cyrille Thienpont's wine from the Côtes de Francs region east of the Gironde river.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes grow on a 31-hectare area in the Côtes de Francs, with an average vine age of about 30 years. After removing the stems, the whole grapes ferment in cement and steel tanks, after which the wine matures for 12-16 months in 225-liter oak barrels, one-third of which are renewed annually.

Usage: A classic wine to accompany veal entrecôte.

Description: The multidimensional scent has dark berries, paprika and graphite. The medium-bodied taste is typical of the region and classic and quite concentrated. The flavor is rich in cedar wood and tobacco, the tannins are ripe and the aftertaste is long.
