Top wine of an elegant vintage.
Terroir, production method and maturation: A rainy winter was followed by an early spring and a successful flowering, thanks to which the ripening of the grapes started early. However, the bunches ripened at different rates, so the harvest was carried out very precisely. The wine was stored in steel and cement tanks as well as in large oak barrels. The maceration lasted for 20 days. After pressing, malolactic fermentation took place in tanks, followed by 20 months of maturation in mainly new French oak barrels.
Use: A classic wine to enjoy young or to age in the cellar.
Description: The multidimensional aroma has sweet spiciness brought by oak, ripe dark fruit and leatheriness. The mouthfeel is rich, but at the same time mildly elegant, and you can feel the cedar wood. Refined but strong tannins.
