A traditional blend of Gamay and Pinot Noir made without sulfur dioxide.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are picked by hand from orchards planted in the 1950s and 1980s at the same time. Pinot Noir and Gamay are vinified together, with 90% of the grapes being whole bunches. The wine matures in 600-liter oak barrels for 7-9 months. The wine is not clarified or filtered, and sulfur is never added to it.

Use: As an accompaniment to duck rillettes.

Description: The scent is herbal and peppery. The medium-bodied taste is approachable fruity and spicy, gentle in tannins and fresh in acidity.

In a stone cellar from the 18th century, located in the village of Meursault, the production of fruit trees belonging to the Hospices de Beaune was pressed. The estates passed to the Rougeot family at the end of the 19th century, and today they are surrounded by an elegant garden and a small monopoly vineyard.
