New premier cru plot in Croix production.
Terroir, production method and aging: The grapes used for the wine are collected by hand from the vineyard, which was previously mixed with Beaune village wine. The wine ages spontaneously in whole bunches in open oak barrels. The grapes are compressed pneumatically, separating the free-flowing grape juice from the pressed juice. The wine matures for 18 months in oak barrels.
Use: With lamb curry and mashed potatoes seasoned with parmesan.
Description: The richly aromatic scent has deep dark fruitiness. The wine has dense dark fruit and aromatic red cherry, as well as plenty of acidity.
