An elegant and fresh red wine starring Baga, the original variety of the Bairrada region that has almost disappeared.
Terroir, production method and aging: The wine is made by hand. The grapes come from 15-80 year old vines. The cool winds blowing from the Atlantic affect large temperature variations between night and day, which brings acidity and aromaticity to the grapes. Half of the wine ages in steel tanks, half in French oak barrels for 6 months.
Use: A versatile food wine that works not only with cold cuts and light meats, but also with game birds, lamb, roast rabbit or tuna.
Description: The versatile scent is fresh and has aromas of red berries and spices. The medium-bodied and relatively acidic mouthfeel is complemented by ripe fruitiness, florality and a hint of herbaceousness.
