Classic oak barrel aged Savagnin.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are collected by hand from deep, calcareous clay soil. Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation occur naturally without added yeasts and bacteria in used oak barrels. The lees are not mixed and the wine is not decanted during the 15 months of maturation.

Use: With an asparagus pie frosted with Gruyère cheese.

Description: The scent gives off roasted nuts, ripe lemon and a little creaminess. The dry taste is supported by precise acidity and the fruitiness is abundant.

Rijckaert

The story of Rijckaert's farm combines a Belgian man's love for Burgundy and a man who grew up in the Jura region's love for nature. In our opinion, the combination is the most successful, and thus our selections include Rijckaert wines from both regions! Jean Rijckaert founded the winery bearing his name in 1998 in the Mâconnais region.
