A very strong column wine from Laguardia.
Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are obtained from vines planted in 1989 and 1992, which grow on an area of 4.1 hectares in Laguardia. The soil is thin, consisting of limestone and clay. The shelter heads east near the Poza de Ballesteros plot on the border of the villages. The yield is 4000 kg/ha. The grapes are collected by hand in 10 kg boxes and sorted precisely. Before fermentation, the wine is macerated for 24-48 hours in a cool place. Fermentation takes place in open oak vats for 10-12 days. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and matures for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Use: with roast Iberico pork.
Description: The strong and lively aroma has dark berries, such as crowberry. The taste is dense, very acidic and fresh, and firm tannins support the abundant fruitiness of the wine, making the whole lively.
