An atypical red wine from the Mediterranean region, whose freshness brings out the unique climate and growth conditions of the Garraf highlands.
Terroir, method of production and maturation: The soil of the Ca l'Aixut vineyard, located at an altitude of 450 meters, next to the Natural Park of Massif del Garraf, is very calcareous clay. The wine was made from start to finish using organic methods. The grapes were harvested by hand from 80-year-old vines. The wine aged spontaneously in steel tanks and matured for 12 months in French oak barrels.
Use: With tapas, Spanish sausages such as Chorizo and Butifarra and grilled dishes.
Description: Aromas of dark berries and hints of aromatic plants and herbs growing in Massis del Garraf. The medium-bodied taste is pleasantly mineral and fresh, and wild berries and herbs play in the long aftertaste.
