In 2015, for the first time, 100% Pinot Noir was produced from the 1er Cru plot of the village of Pierry.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes come from the Les Gouttes d'Or plot planted in 1951 in the Premier Cru village of Pierry. The plot of a third of a hectare is located at the bottom of the slope, where a lot of shale is mixed with the clay. 50% of the wine ages in oak barrels and 50% in egg-shaped cement tanks. The wine is not clarified or filtered. The whole is allowed to go through a second fermentation and mature for 48 months in cool cellars under natural cork. Dosage 2g/l.

Use: Rich food champagne to accompany light fish and creamy sauces.

Description: The wine has a rich color and the same fullness is also repeated in the aroma and taste. You can smell yellow apples and nuttiness in the wine. The taste is supported by very rich acidity, and there is also marzipan in the aftertaste.
