A fresh white wine from the Kakheti region made with minimal intervention.
Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are harvested by hand from Chumlak in the Kakhet region. Half of the grapes are removed from their stems and placed in a kvevri dish with their skins. The rest of the grapes are pressed and after a short settling, the pressed juice is also added to the kvevri. After two weeks of contact with the skins, the wine is placed in old French oak barrels and another kvevri, where the wine finishes and matures for a long time. The wine is not clarified during bottling, and sulfur dioxide is also minimally added.
Use: As a companion to fresh fish and seafood dishes.
Description: Quite aromatic and very fruity wine with a very pleasant mouthfeel. Dry and balanced, great wine.
