An uncomplicatedly tasty red wine from the south of France.

Terroir, method of production and maturation: The grapes are collected from the Villeveyrac area, on dry limestone soil. The stems of the grapes are removed and they ferment and macerate all together for 10-12 days at 25-30°C. The wine matures for 6-7 months in steel tanks. The wine is not filtered before bottling.

Use: As a companion to grilled pork and salad.

Description: An almost berry-like and open scent. The medium-bodied taste is soft and juicy, the noticeable acidity brings freshness to the wine and the whole is well balanced.

Mas de Daumas Gassac's nearly 1,250-year history dates back to around 780, when Benedictine monks were among the first to make wine in the area. Fast-forwarding to 1970, Véronique and Aimé Guibert are seen touring the area looking for a home for their family.
