Grosses Gewächs -Riesling from the original plot of the Marienburg orchard owned by the Busch family for generations.
Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are collected from the gray slate plot of the Pündericher Marienburg vineyard located at an altitude of 110-190 meters. The wine ferments spontaneously in large 1,000-liter old oak barrels, where it also matures for 10 months. Except for nothing else, a small amount of sulfur dioxide is not added to the wine. Residual sugar 6.4g/l and acids 6.1g/l.
Use: For fatty fish and organic pork loin.
Description: The fragrance is a multidimensional and expressive mix of flowers and citrus fruits. The dry taste is mineral and dense, although surprisingly approachable and deliciously acidic considering its young age.
