Biodynamic Riesling from the plot of Loiserberg at just the right ripeness.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes cultivated with biodynamic methods come from the Loiserberg plot. The wine is allowed to macerate with the skins for 12 hours, after which it ferments spontaneously 40% in large old oak barrels for 4-6 weeks at 20-24°C and 60% in steel tanks. The wine matures for 4 months on all lees and 4 months on fine lees.

Use: With spicy Asian-inspired and herb-marinated shellfish.

Description: The intense and strong scent has ripe stone fruit and citrus. The dry taste is very balanced with a noticeable acidity supporting open ripe fruitiness.



Austrian Fred Loimer is a wine producer striving for perfection, whose vineyards covering 80 hectares are mainly located in Langenlois in Kamptal. In addition to Kamptal, Loimer also has a few hectares of vineyards south of Vienna, in Gumpoldskirchen in the Thermenregion.
