A richly flavored and toasty rose sparkling wine.
Terroir, method of preparation and maturation: The grapes are hand-picked from the limestone vineyards owned by the family, located in the Alt Penedès. The grapes are allowed to macerate for a few hours before fermentation. After fermentation, 70% of the base wine is allowed to mature in oak barrels for 3 months before blending and second fermentation. The second fermentation takes place in bottles, where the wine matures on the lees under a natural cork for more than 30 months. Recorking is done by hand and no dosage is added to the wine.
Use: As a companion to elegant meat dishes.
Description: Strong aroma with red apple and raspberry. The dry taste is rich and moderately acidic. In the aftertaste you can feel dark cherry.
