Pinot noir from the famous premier cru plot of Gevrey-Chambertin.
Terroir, method of production and maturation: The grapes used for the wine are collected by hand from a plot located in the southern part of the village. The vines grow 271-282 meters above sea level as the garden faces east. The plot's soil contains iron-rich clay, limestone and gravel. Whole bunches ferment spontaneously in steel tanks and the wine matures for 18 months in French oak barrels, about 60% of which are new. The wine is not clarified or filtered before bottling.
Use: With game birds and herbal sauces.
Description: The aromatic scent has flowers, currants and spiciness. The rich taste is layered with lively fruitiness combined with elegant but noticeable tannins and a spicy aftertaste.
