Becker's wild red blend from the Palatinate.

Terroir, method of production and maturation: The grapes were harvested by hand, Rang at was removed and the wines were allowed to ferment separately. Fermentation takes place in large open oak vats and lasts 2-3 weeks. The wine was bottled without filtering and clarification. Aging for 14 months in 225 liter oak barrels.

Use: Pasta, red meat, cheeses & game meat.

Serving temperature : 16-18 °C

Description: The scent has dark berries, spiciness and a little licorice. The medium-bodied taste is fruity, juicy, fresh and poised.

Weingut Friedrich Becker is located in Germany in the Palatinate wine region, in the village of Schweigen, just 500 meters from the French border. The specialty of the farm is its exceptional location, as up to 60% of the farms are actually located on the Alsace side.
