Semi-dry and spicy Pinot Gris from the shadow of rowan.
Method of production: The grapes are hand-harvested from an amphitheater-shaped 1.2-hectare steep vineyard facing north. The soil of the shelter is iron-rich clay, which is also rich in lime. The grove is shaded by the Mediterranean Rowan (Cormier), after which the wine is also named. The vines were planted in 1985-1988 and the garden faces north. The wine ferments spontaneously with natural yeasts in steel tanks over the winter on lees matured until spring bottling. Residual sugar 32.8 g/l.
Use: A versatile wine that is also suitable for spicier dishes.
Description: An aromatic and spicy wine with aromas of ripe fruit, honey and ginger. The semi-dry taste has an oily rich mouth feel and is filled with yellow fruits.
