Natural wine from a Bassano family producer. The production methods do not mess with modern technology and the BC abbreviation of the name refers to a time before the countdown.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The vines grow on volcanic, mineral-rich soil at an altitude of about 150–300 meters. The bunches of grapes are harvested by hand, after which the grapes are separated from the stems. The wine ferments spontaneously in non-temperature-controlled wooden containers. The wine is macerated for a total of 3 weeks. Alcoholic fermentation is followed by natural malolactic fermentation. Finally, the wine rests for 18 months in unroasted oak barrels and 6 months in the bottle. No sulfites are added to the wine, and it is not filtered, clarified or stabilized.

Use: Hard cheeses, cold meats and other Italian antipastos, roasts and casseroles.

Description: The scent has black currant and red berries. Balanced medium-full mouthfeel, neat structure.

Contrà Soarda

Contrà Soarda

In the province of Veneto, at the foot of the Alps, in the village of Bassano del Grappa, the characteristic quality wines of Contrà Soarda are born. The heart of Contrà Soarda is the Gottard family of four.
