A classic Pauillac wine from a concentrated vintage.

Terroir, production method and maturation: Spring and early summer followed the average vine growing season schedule. The summer was hot and dry, but August brought the necessary rain to the orchards and the grapes ripened, retaining their natural freshness. The wine went in both steel and cement tanks. The maceration lasted for 20 days. After pressing, malolactic fermentation took place in tanks, followed by aging the wines in oak barrels. After choosing the best barrels, the wine was mixed and allowed to mature for 50% in new oak barrels for a year.

Use: A classic wine to enjoy young or to age in the cellar.

Description: The scent is classic and you can distinguish cedar wood, spiciness and herbs. The taste is darkly fruity and rich, the tannins are ripe, and the whole is spicy but already enjoyable.

Château Duhart-Milon

Château Duhart-Milon

Back in the 18th century, the then owner of Lafite Rothschild Marquis Nicolas-Alexandre de Ségur understood the potential of the orchards of the then Milon farm, and Milon then became Lafite's second wine. In 1815, the farm was unofficially referred to as Pauillac's 4th growth class farm, and during the distribution of inheritance in the 1830s and 1840s, 14 hectares of paddocks formerly belonging to the Duhart family were also added to the Milon farm, when this 40-hectare complex was renamed Duhart-Milon.
