Domaine Lamy-Pillot

Unit price per

Alkon hinta

A dense red wine from Chassagne-Montrachet.

Method of preparation: The grapes are harvested by hand from a 1-hectare vineyard facing southeast. The soil is limestone and very little clay. The vines were planted in 1976. The wine ferments and matures for 12 months in 25% new, 20% used for the second time and 55% used for the third time in oak barrels.

Use: With game birds and mushroom stew.

Description: The aroma has both red and dark berries, as well as sweet spiciness. The dry taste is still dense with neat tannins and the fruitiness is quite deep.

Domaine Lamy-Pillot

Domaine Lamy-Pillot

Domaine Lamy-Pillot is a family farm located in Morgeot, Chassagne-Montrachet, founded in 1975 by René Lamy and Thérèse Pillot from Saint-Aubin, descendants of wine-growing families. Although both sides of the owner couple come from winemaking families, through creativity, ingenuity and hard work, they have had a remarkable share in the farm's growth to its current proportions.
