Rich white wine from Vau de Vey, one of the family's most significant estates.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are picked by hand from 40-year-old vines in an area of just under a hectare. The plot is very steep with a slope of up to 40-50%. The wine ages in steel tanks and half of the wine matures for 10-12 months in oak barrels, some of which are new and some are 1-3 years old.

Use: With grilled turbot and lemon butter.

Description: An intensely layered aroma with toasty oak, ripe apple and lemon peel. The dry taste is rich, richly acidic and has a mineral aftertaste.

Roland Lavantureux

The first wines produced in the 1960s from the vineyards of the Lavantureux family's village of Lignorelles were appropriately enjoyed among friends and family. After getting their share of the wines, Marine and Gervais Lavantureux started selling some of the farm's wines in classic 132-liter feuillettes barrels to the Auxerre and Paris regions.
