An intensive village-level chablis.

Terroir, production method and ripening: The grapes are picked by hand from 30-year-old vines. The wine ages in steel tanks and a quarter of the wine matures in 2-7 year old oak barrels.

Use: With stewed mussels.

Description: A multidimensional scent with ripe citrus and a hint of roast. The dry taste is supported by very rich acidity and is mineral.

The first wines produced in the 1960s from the vineyards of the Lavantureux family's village of Lignorelles were appropriately enjoyed among friends and family. After getting their share of the wines, Marine and Gervais Lavantureux started selling some of the farm's wines in classic 132-liter feuillettes barrels to the Auxerre and Paris regions.
