A blue slate interpretation of Riesling's multidimensionality.

Terroir, method of production and maturation: The grapes are collected from the Pündericher Marienburg vineyard, located at an altitude of 110-190 meters, on a soil consisting of blue slate. The wine ferments spontaneously in large 1,000-liter old oak barrels, where it also matures for 10 months. Except for nothing else, a small amount of sulfur dioxide is not added to the wine. Residual sugar 5.3g/l and acids 5.7g/l.

Use: As a companion to delicate lake fish and herb-encrusted roast veal.

Description: The scent is a mix of citrus fruits and spiciness. The dry taste is elegant, in line with the style of the house, and the aftertaste is lingering.

The husband and wife couple Clemens and Rita, together with their son Johannes, are responsible for the production of the wines, which are among the first certified organic wines in the region.
