Birdsong and ripe fruit in the form of Chardonnay.

Terroir, production method and maturation: The grapes are harvested by hand and pressed whole. The juice is allowed to settle for 72 hours. The wine ages in French oak barrels, 30% of which are new and 70% used. 35% of the wine underwent malolactic fermentation. The wine matures for 11 months on the lees, which is rotated a couple of times a month for three months.

Use: Various fish dishes and fruit salads.

Description: Ripe tropical scent with mango and papaya. The taste is dry and has ripe melon. Medium strong acids.

Airfield Estates is a family-owned winery dating back to the 1920s in Washington State's Yakima Valley, which is the state's oldest AVA (American Viticultural Area) from 1983. Yakima Valley covers up to a third of the state's wine production, although the area is also known for its numerous fruit trees and growing hop bushes.
