Grosses Gewächs classified Spätburgunder from the Pfalz red wine connoisseur.

Terroir, production method and maturation: Kammerberg's south-facing plot is located right on the border of Alsace. The subsoil is limestone, on top of which rests a rich layer of sandy clay. The orchard was planted in 1967. The grapes are selected and collected by hand. After removing the stems, the wine ferments spontaneously for three weeks in open oak barrels. After fermentation, the wine matures for 18 months in small French oak barrels.

Use: For small game and matured cheeses.

Description: In addition to fruitiness, the aromatic scent also has a little floweriness. The taste is elegant and the tannins are very fine. The rich acidity brings a lot of freshness to the wine, and the long, layered taste promises the wine a very long aging potential.
